PULSE DANCE COMPANY PRESENTS
Season 11 🍋 2020-2021
-
SEPTEMBER - FEBRUARY
FRESHLY SQUEEZED presented by Pulse monthly
Pulse Dance Company supports and empowers dancers from across the country through Freshly Squeezed, a virtual mini-commission for artists to create and present new work virtually.
Selected artists are encouraged to creative inventive short dance films, between 30 seconds to three minutes in length, to hone skills in choreography, filming, editing, and collaboration.
Creators receive free rehearsal space if needed locally, a $50 stipend, and their final (freshly squeezed!) work will be released across Pulse Dance Company's online platforms - social, web, and mailing list - throughout Pulse's 2020-2021 season.
We're excited to keep dancers creating, and eager to share their unique final products every month.
Applications to submit work are accepted until 5pm on Monday, September 28th.

JUICED with Pulse
Join Pulse Dance Company virtually every Monday at 7:15pm for conditioning, movement, and dance technique classes! Get "juiced" alongside the company as we step back into the studio to regain pre-hunker down strength and endurance. Averaging 45-60 minutes per session, these pulse-raising, booty-kicking, open-level classes vary weekly, offer modifications for all participants, and are free/by donation.
Whether you'd like to get active with our company artists, or just peek behind the scenes, this is guaranteed to be the most fun form of self care you can have on a Monday night, all from the comfort of your own home!
TO JOIN: You do not need a Zoom account to join. Simply click this Zoom link or meeting ID: 878 7159 9921 and enter "dance" when prompted for a password. Class donations are appreciated to help support this and other season programming.

THIS WINTER
NUTCRACKER IN A NUTSHELL
Saturday, November 28th, Town Square
In lieu of our usual in-theatre concert of the The Nutcracker Redux, Pulse is shifting to a miniature performance of our Nutcracker Redux in the windows of the Alaska Center for the Performing Arts.
Keep an eye out for charming, delightful tableaus and lil' dancing lemon drops just in time for the holidays, best viewed with the whole family and a warm cup of cocoa in hand.
