CALL FOR SEASON 17 (2026-2027) DANCERS
Pulse Dance Company is seeking bold, curious movers (18+) ready to grow, create, and perform in a dynamic, professional environment.
We’re especially drawn to dancers who live for movement exploration and crave meaningful artistic connection.
 

YOU MIGHT BE A GREAT FIT IF YOU:
- Are an advanced-intermediate to advanced level dancer with stage experience
- Maintain a consistent technique/conditioning regimen
- Are excited to perform in (or help with!) occasional burlesque fundraisers
- Have a team-player spirit, a love for the arts, and a dash of humor
- Are ready to be an ambassador for Anchorage’s innovative adult dance company
 

YOUR EXPERIENCE WILL INCLUDE:
- Rehearsals and performances alongside passionate dance makers and guest artists - no tuition or monthly fees!
- Opportunities to grow as a performer, choreographer, leader, and collaborator
- Professional photo and video shoots 
- Performance stipends
- 30% off of technique classes, sponsored by Studio Pulse
- Connections in the local music and performing arts scene
 

COMMITMENT:
Season runs mid-August 2026-April 2027
Rehearsals: Mon & Tues 7:15-9:15pm, Wed 8:15-9:45 + occasional/optional weekends.
Dancers may choose their participation level.
 

THE DETAILS:
Home studio: Studio Pulse Center for Dance (2422 E Tudor Rd)
Annual Membership: $150 – supports hundreds of rehearsal hours at pennies on the hour, operations, costuming, more!

AUDITIONS: Following letters of interest, applicants will be invited to attend company class/open auditions, schedule TBA.
